Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 15, 2025
Tajweed ("the App") is a Quran recitation learning application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Data Collection
The App does not collect any personal data. No user account is required. All your data (progress, favorites, settings) is stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage and is never sent to a server.
2. Microphone Usage
The App uses your device's microphone solely to analyze your recitation in real time. Audio is processed locally on your device. No audio recordings are stored, transmitted, or shared with third parties.
3. Analytics (Web Version Only)
The web version of the App uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (page views, country, browser). This data cannot personally identify you. The mobile apps (iOS and Android) do not collect any analytics data.
4. External Audio Content
The App streams audio recitations from third-party servers (everyayah.com, qurancdn.com). These network requests are subject to the privacy policies of those services. No personal data is sent in these requests.
5. Children's Data
The App does not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised update date.
